Pain Management Procedures at Grant Surgicenter
Nerve Block:
This procedure is used to inject a local anesthetic (numbing medicine) and/or a steroid at the nerve or bundle of nerves causing pain.
Sacroiliac Joint Injection:
This procedure is used to inject a local anesthetic (numbing medicine) and/or a steroid into the sacroiliac joint to relieve pain in the lower back and hips.
Epidural Injection:
This procedure is used to inject a local anesthetic (numbing medicine) and/or a steroid to reduce inflammation and pain.
Spinal Cord Stimulation:
This procedure is used to implant a small device which sends electrical impulses to the spinal cord and spinal nerves to mask pain signals.
